SEQUINS, LEATHER, AND FRIENDS

Wanted to share a few pics from girls night out several weeks ago! As you know I LOVE getting dressed...for any event!:) I used this special going away party as an occasion to bring out the sequin skirt...again (seen here and here). I am seriously in love with this skirt and pull it out every chance I get. This top has also quickly become a fave. (previously seen here) Can't wait to hang out with my lovely friends again this weekend! Hope you have a wonderful Friday!

JUST A TEE...I DON'T THINK SO

For me a t-shirt is never just a t-shirt....unless it's a tired night after work!:) I like LOVE to wear heels! Not only do they help me feel normal-sized...I promise they hurt my feet less than flats. I tend to wear my heels every chance I get, and that includes pairing them up with my tees. For me to "dress" up my tee I tend to pair it with a blazer/cardi/jacket of some sort. I found this one at Nordstorm rack a few weeks ago! It's such a light material that I am able to wear it now in Summer, but I can already tell I will get a lot of mileage out of it this Fall and even early Winter. Another way I "dress" up my t-shirts is by throwing on a nicer/dressier necklace. For this look, I threw on my new spike and diamond necklace, found at Nords rack for only $3.00!! Yes, you read that right...I seriously have found my new favorite store ever!:) 

So there you have it, two simple and easy ways to take your tees from the couch to the heel and beyond!:)

PINK ELEPHANTS

To be honest I didn't know how I felt about peplum at first, but soon enough I gave in to the trend and have been loving it! I found this at F21 early this spring and it has been a staple in wardrobe! See here how I style it for a cooler evening. If I'm being honest with you I ended up wearing it today to work with my red skinnies...see lots of ways to style it! And today may be one of my favorites b/c it will be a great Bama gameday outfit!!;) What is that one go to top in your closet that you style different every time?

BEACH TRIP DAY 2

So, yes, I'm still sharing photos from my beach trip...a month ago;) I can't believe it's been that long...it feels like I was just there. Good thing I have another trip coming up soon! I promise next time I won't wait so long to share!
