I LOVE these boots! I stalked them most of last fall and winter. Then when I was in Tuscaloosa last Christmas break they had them at Belk 1/2 off!!!! Of course I could not say no! I have a tendency to stalk my favorite shoes until they go on sale! Unless I know the shoe won't go on sale or I need them soon rather than later will I then pay full price!:) So if you see me roaming in the shoe section (particular at Belk) no I'm not crazy I'm just looking to see if the shoe I'm dying over is on sale yet!;)

So glad it's the weekend!! But also I keep getting more nervous the closer Saturday creeps up! You see Saturday at 3pm ct BAMA kicks off in the SEC Championship game vs. UGA. They are a good team and will give us a run for our money, BUT I think Bama has gone through too much and it's been 3 years, they are ready to get this W! I look for our D to stand tall and our O to show out....remember the name Chris Black....a freshman who has been hurt most of the year, but is forgoing a red shirt season to play. And the kid can play! I CAN'T WAIT!!!! AHHH!!:)

'Tis the season to SPARKLE

I'm a girl that loves anything that shimmers and glimmers! When I saw this cardi last winter I knew I was not leaving the store without it. However, despite how much I love it, this was the first time I've worn it. I have a hard time saying no to sequins although I really don't have anywhere to where them. But I'm starting to realize that at some point you just have to create your own moment and bust out the sequins! What better time could there be for a sequin moment than Christmas?!!! So with that said if from now until after New Years you see me in sequins frequently just remember 'tis the season to sparkle!!!:)

THANKSGIVING BREAK

I hope you all enjoyed all the Thanksgiving festivities...I know I did!!!:) Thursday I enjoyed our family dinner with lots of food followed by some football. Then late Thursday night/Friday morning I went out Black Friday shopping. It's always an experience every year....people never cease to amazing me. I did find a few great items while saving some money...which is always a bonus. After shopping and laying around I readied myself to head to Tuscaloosa for the Iron Bowl. I can't believe football season is coming to a close and no more tailgating for this season! :(  BUT it was so great to send both Auburn and Chizik out with a BANG and by bang I mean no points, no SEC wins, and now no coach!!!:):) Nothing better than dominating your state rival for another year!!! ROLL. TIDE. I hope you all have had as much fun as I did! Now the countdown to Christmas is on....I'm praying the time goes by slow and I can take each moment in. I LOVE this time of year!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING

Today is a day to count our blessings, be with friends and family, eat LOTS of good food, and shop!!!:)

Just Dreaming

So I must admit after all these years I'm still hooked to Gossip Girl. There I said it. I love this show not for the drama and cute guys (although that doesn't hurt) I love seeing the scenery of NYC (a dream place I must go) and the FASHION. The clothes "Blair" and "Serena" have had on over the years always keep me wanting more. 

So it got me to thinking...if I could take any 5 pieces out of my Pinterest closet and put them in mine what would I take. After much contemplation I have decided on the following. I present my DREAM closet!:)

Thanksgiving Week + A Rival

Last night I had a Basement Thanksgiving dinner. It's always great to be around my friends and family! It's such an honor to be apart of this ministry and serve under the best leaders in the nation! Don't forget you can always check us out at HERE!! :)

LOVE this girl! I really don't know what I would have done this year without her!! Such an amazing friend and leader!! She is also the reason this blog was even started!

I hope you all had a great weekend! On Friday I attended a Basement team meeting....which like I have said before, they never disappoint and always are so encouraging. Always pushing us to go to that next level. Then on Saturday I enjoyed watching Bama dominate once again....they returned to the team I know and love. On Saturday night I watched as (once again) everything fell into place for Bama to head to Miami back to the National Championship!! "The process" is so clear...do the little things right everyday and big results are bound to happen. Saban really does understand what it takes to push people to be the best they can be. Roll. Tide.

Looking forward to a short work week  with a huge weekend (it's rivalry week!!!) and not to mention seeing family and friends, eating (a lot), and shopping!!! SO excited!!!

Casual Friday

So again please forgive me for the poor quality, the lightening and iPhone camera did not want to cooperate last night. :/ I love this casual look....as you can tell leggings are my go to look! Over the past year I discovered PINK yoga leggings! They are great! They don't stretch out, you can't see through them, and they go with everything!! The half-zip pullover also quickly became a favorite!! During the summer semi-annual sale I ended up with two more of these. I can't wait for the next semi-annual sale after Christmas, hoping to rack up on some more leggings and pullovers. :)

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! No big plans over here, just excited about sitting around watch tv (i.e., football)!!:) Roll Tide.

This outfit was so comfortable! I own several pairs of hue jeggings and love them all!! They look like jeans with real pockets in the back and fake pockets in the front all while feeling like you have on leggings. I have gotten several complements on my "jeans". And with the holidays coming up I would make sure to put them on your list! Did I mention they also come in corduroy and leopard print?! 

Also I wanted to share my favorite pair of earrings that I own! I have always loved a good diamond stud and they go with everything. I got these last year after going through several cheaper pairs and years of stalking these. They come in silver, gold, and now rose gold!! I'm so so excited about the rose gold as it has become my new obsession!;)

Another statement in my Fall/Winter wardrobe is a good black blazer. I love them because they make everything look more put together. You can throw one on over a t-shirt or a nice button up and it will look great either way. 

This is the first time I've worn my cross cardi and I adore it!! I tend to be classic with my cardigans and pick solid colors, but this is a great change in my closet!!

I can't believe it's already Wednesday. Being off on Monday is throwing off my days...but I'm not complaining!!!:) Happy WEDNESDAY!

So despite a completely and totally disappointing game on Saturday I still had fun celebrating  my birthday with my closest friends. I LOVE my gifts (got that lippy I wanted off my Beauty Wish List)!!! Football season is my favorite time of the year and sadly it's coming to an end. We have 1 more tailgate for the year (AU game) and another season with my football family is in the books. I have SO many memories and exciting trips about Alabama football....I'm hoping that some way some how Bama can finish strong and get back in this National Title Game. 

Due to Veteran's Day I've enjoyed a 3-day weekend and LOVED every single minute of it! Sunday night I put up my Christmas trees! I love sitting by the Christmas tree lights watch a good movie (or football game;))
