I got this thermal (and another) the other day from PINK (on SALE). It's so comfy! I know these will be getting a lot of wear from now into Spring.

As you all know I LOVE my winter and cold weather. This weekend proves to be COLD with a possibility of SNOW! I'm so excited! Again I'm from Bama...I will take whatever little snow and cold weather I can get. This weekend is already promising to be a good one!:)

GOLD SPIKES

I got these shoes this weekend and immediately I'm obsessed ! I was looking for a boot about this height but more on the lace up side. However, they were not on sale (Come on Steven Madden I'm dying over here!) and these were! I walked in and spotted them on the discount table. Not only was it 50% off already it was another 50% off of that!! I love Belk sales!!:) (Side note I bought these boots, a dress, and a top for about $80 and saved $315!! Oh you read that right...bargain shopper!) I totally forgot I have a $10 gift card so I guess back to the Belk sale I will go!! ;)

CASUAL ME

I feel like it's kindof odd to post a casual look after last night's Oscars! The red carpet of the Oscars is a fashion lovers dream or for me my fashion super bowl! I love watching all the dresses come down the red carpet and then seeing the changing of dresses throughout the show. And last night was no exception. There were several wow moments.....Halle Berry, Amy Adams, and Jen Gardner..to name a few of my favs! And I know the Oscars are about the movies....BUT in my opinion Jennifer Hudson (once again) stole the show with her performance of "And I am Telling You". Love Dreamgirls. Love that song. Love Love Love J.Hud. She really is in a league of her own! 

My weekend was also full of worship at another (and possible the MOST fun) Basement leadership meeting, hanging with my girls at Airwalk (SO. MUCH. FUN.), and the NFL combine! 

Now on to what I'm wearing. As I mentioned last week I've been having some casual moments lately. I enjoy thinking outside the box and finding ways to dress up a casual moment or dress down a dressy moment. To bring the two together to create something my own is very fun for me, especially when it turns out!;) And yes I realize that most of my close friends do not consider this to be casual, but for a girl who wouldn't mind wearing an Oscar gown every day of the week, I feel like it's casual. Casual mostly to me means comfort and this outfit was so comfortable. This shirt has been a favorite of mine for years. Yes literally years and I hope it lasts many more.

So I've seen this look on several bloggers sites that I follow and new immediately I wanted to recreate that moment! I was nervous my pieces wouldn't look good together but it turned out much better than expected! I love when you imagine a look and it turns out just like you thought it would! I must admit this is a new fav! Oh don't you worry I will be trying it with the leopard vest that I've been dying over all winter! And total confession this vest/jacket combo was still put together from the other night so yep I grabbed it this morning to throw on over my work outfit. :) Being in Bama I don't know winter for too much longer so I plan on squeezing every little bit I can out of my favorite season with my closet.

So yet another Target collection outfit. Yes I told you Target is my happy place and they supply me with lots of great clothes!! I would have never thought to put these two together but after looking through some of my fashion magazines the other day I was a bit more inspired to try something different. I am so happy it turned out better than expected. I will have to keep this one in mind for the future.

WEEKEND FUN

My weekend began by getting off work early and heading to see my favorite stylist. She really is the best. ever. I was going for a change and she brought my vision to life. Also going to attempt to grow out my bangs...I've had them since my freshman year of college so this is going to be quite the change ..if I can last. ;)

Saturday was Crowned girls night. We had Pinterest/craft night. I had a craft in mind but it was going to be quite expensive so since I'm trying to move I will wait until it goes on sale at Hobby Lobby! I always have such a blast with these girls! I LOVE getting to know them more and develop closer relationships. 

I ended my weekend by catching up on my fashion magazines. I am seriously so behind...like I'm embarrassed to tell you that I'm just catching up on my September issues. Which are my most favorite. I've just been so busy with more important things that they have had to wait but looking to get somewhat back on track with them. 

Also I just had to share some pics of my cutie, Lyla, on Valentine's Day in her bows and bandanna.

FLOWER POWER

Once again Target has done it...another amazing affordable collection and I want every piece! Seriously they have to stop doing this to me or I will be broke. Prabal Gurung has created a collection for Target that is perfect for spring full of flowers (see below), bright colors (including neons), some color blocking, and pieces with amazing structure! It also made for a great Valentine's outfit. And total confession...I wore this shirt twice in one week! Yep this is going to get a lot of mileage this spring!

I began my weekend with my amazing/wonderful friend who happens to also be my hair stylist! She is the best ever!! I can't wait to share the new hair with you guys! Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
